If you need to edit the list later, simply target the dropdown cell, return to the Validation Tool, and modify the Source field as needed. To clear the dropdown, return to the validation settings, click the Delete Options, and then validate deletion. It is also helpful to use named ranges for often-modified selections, as this improves efficiency and increases transparency. To create a named range, select the range of options, go to the Named Range menu, and select Define Name. Use a descriptive label and use that name in the Source field instead of a cell address.
